Overview
Boke Híhihid was founded durring the late 11th century, by Faimes. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Faimes.
Boke Híhihid was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Boke Híhihid is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Boke Híhihid is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad canals streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The city's minimaly adiquite are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.
A quick look in any direction shows Boke Híhihid is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this city live.

Cultural Notes
Boke Híhihid has a long tradition of martial expertise. This may be a crisply-organized history of skilled native levies, or it may be a natural belligerence in the people that leaves them familiar with bloodshed. While their neighbors and liege doubtless respect their talents, this very aptitude might make them more willing to turn to steel than prudence would advise.
Boke Híhihid's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.
In Boke Híhihid the utterance of expletives is impossible within city limits. This has changed as the limits have changed, but has not kept up with slang, or swearing in foreign languages.
The Gallows Tree Zombie near Boke Híhihid are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Boke Híhihid's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves bloodletting to channel Transmutation energies of tier 1 via oratory performances.

POI
History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Boke Híhihid was attacked by savage ettins living nearby. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Boke Híhihid lost 175 people, 277 livestock, and 46 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 58, when members of Boke Híhihid's militia enacted an operation to patrol a specific area to dissuade the enemy from their current activities. The operation was complicated by extremely hostile wildlife which took many out of action. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in a stalemate for Boke Híhihid's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Boke Híhihid's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
